This particular spot is quite well known on the Jurassic Coast - Old Harry Rocks in Dorset, UK. Coastal erosion has exposed sequences of rock layers spanning Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, and personally to see these formations from out over the open ocean was nothing short of amazing.
