African Country Girl

This is a portrait of my sister-in-law, she's a true farm girl in heart and soul. She's married to my big brother and they farm in the Kalahari with livestock. She is always the one to take in the orphaned lambs from the herd and look after them. She does this with great passion and love. We decided to take a few photos of her on their farm in the field on the red dunes as this place is very close to her heart. This photo was taken at sunset just as the sun was disappearing behind the horizon and we used off camera flash to illuminate her for a few last shots before we headed back home.
