I decided to shoot this serie of pictures because of Mike Kelley. He said, once, in a video, that rather buying a new lens or a new camera we should get a one hour flight in helicopter and shoot the city from the sky. I did it and it was the best advice of my life! I love planes and helicopter, I love architecture and obviously I love photography. Thanks Mike!
After shooting the city all over the place for architecture, we get back to the airport and the control tower told the pilot that 2 planes were on their way to take off, we asked them to finish the aerial photography work on the airport, so they allowed us to shoot. We were in a Robinson R22 and to get this shots we had to stay quite a long time on static position, and the vortex issue came up... that scared me a bit to be honest.
This pic has been taken in Montpellier (France)
