Rocks on the Beach

This image was taken just after sunrise on Tybee Island Beach in Savannah, Georgia. The previous day these rocks were well out of the water but with the rising tide it offered a great opportunity to catch the waves crashing over the rocks. I was struck by the beauty of this spot as the rocks seemed to divide the scene into warmer colors on the left where the sun was rising and the cooler colors on the right. It was such a pleasing scene to the eyes and I thought this image demonstrated the moment I experienced that morning nicely. I used ND filters to help achieve the necessary shutter speed to blur the water. Enjoy!
