Charybdis

This location is known for its rough seas and rogue swells when you least expect it.
Despite this, it attracts many photographers to catch a slice of the action and some have lost their gears in the drink.
The sunrise wasn't great that morning and everyone had packed up and left.
I thought I wait for the light and walked towards the rock ledge to capture the water movement, while being mindful the swells could come from the side and wash me out.

Great image, Danny! A visual treat. I love the movement in the swirling water, the light catching the spray off the waves, and kissing that foreground rock, against that dark pinnacle, those distant streaky clouds - something to feast the eyes on in every part of the image. Do you mind saying where this is?
