Male Costa's Hummingbird perched on a dried plant very early spring 2018. He was just passing through the Mojave Desert in southern California during the spring migration. Taken with Sony A99II and Tamron 150-600mm lens in natural light. I tried out reducing the noise from taking the photo in low light on a rainy day using the mixer brush tool in Ps. Usually just use lightroom so photoshop techniques are still quite new to me.
