The Sultan Qaboos Mosque (جامع السلطان قابوس في صحار) is one of the two omani grand royal mosques, this is located in Sohar. It was inaugurated in October 2016.
Like all royal mosques, is open for non-Muslims to visit chargefree from 8am to 11am Saturday to Thursday.
If you are visiting Sohar, this is by far the most magnificent contemporary architectural landmark to see.
