The Balos lagoon is a breathtaking sight, it took a long journey of 3h 30min by car and then walk a dirt road of at least five kilometers, but when you come from the path and you see the beach from above you remains speechless from the spectacular landscape that you can see, certainly one of the most beautiful and characteristic places to visit on the island of Crete.
