It was a gloomy morning at a Ft. Lauderdale beach. My girlfriend and I were walking the beach after lunch on the way back to the hotel when it started pouring rain. As we quickly walked back for some cover, we saw a long line of pelicans in formation heading our way. Took my phone out and had no time to put it in burst mode. Took one image once they were closer. In the end, it all lined up nicely with the palm tree. Since that day lacked a lot of color from the sky being overcast, I thought it looked best in black and white.
