This shot was taken from an iconic viewpoint in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
I remember this day well because it's not often you get this red light over the Rio Douro.
Porto (the city on the right) is now a popular destination for tourism and its getting crowded. The spot where this photo was taken used to be empty with almost no people at all but now when you go there are toons of locals and tourist waiting and admiring the sunset and this fantastic view.
