Bored Meeting

This photo was done with the Nikon Coolpix P7700. I know it's not a cool camera, but it is what I'm shooting my 365 Project with this year mainly so that I have a small camera to carry around. Personally I love the camera because it offers me a lot of wiggle room for the wide variety of places (indoor and outdoor) that I shoot. This was done on a cruise ship where I worked. Before I started on this I drew up a detailed list of what I thought I'd like to do. When I sat down at each seat I assumed a different role at a board meeting from staunch supporter to the loathsome employee. At each seat I set up a different group of items to make it more personal for each employee. Then as I was shooting my Voice Activated Lightstand would give me a bit of different light. When I combined the photos in PS I composited all of the people on the right and all of the people on the left and then had PS merge the two shots together because I had to pan the camera to get all the people in the shot I wanted. PS decided it didn't like the way the table fit together and wouldn't do the Merge. So I had to do it myself. Wow! Do I appreciate PS more and more now! The Nikon P7700 has a commander mode in its flash to work with the Nikon SB700/800/900 series flashes. It's amazing the precision the flashes have on both TTL and Manual mode. I love it.
