Before the storm

Probably the scariest shot I’ve ever taken. Not the photo itself, but as I took the last frame that evening, I had already seen lightning and had heard thunder in the mountains. Not a good sight to see after the sun had already set. So I packed my stuff and we ran as fast as we could on the dangerous rocky road. Still got caught by the rain and thankfully not by a lightning strike. Mountains are not joking during the summer storms period.
