I went to Dovre, Norway with a group of photographers from my local cameraclub. The weather forecast said it was gonna be sunny, but when we arrived, we quickly realized that there would be no sun. After hiking and photographing musk oxen for about 7 hours in -19 degrees celsius and cloudy, snowy weather we headed back to the bus. On our way home, we saw 4 musk oxen in the distance. We decided to get out and photograph them. As we parked, the light started breaking through the fog, revealing only parts of the mountains in the scene.
Since the musk oxen lives in one of the worlds harshest enviroments, I knew I had to document it, to really be able to show how harsh their enviroment is - resulting in this image.
