There is an excellent sense of layers in this image, well done. The dark trees in the mid-ground do not bother me, and there is a ton of atmosphere. Some foreground interest/ leading lines would help, Perhaps getting a little closer to the taller grass with your composition.
Thanks for the comment. This was my first deliberate early morning/scouted for composition/checked for weather attempt at a photo. Agree with your recommendation to get closer and I will try if I get to go back this June.
