Rough Stink Bug (Brochymena)

Woah! What's that smell! No worries, it's just a Rough Stink bug! When disturbed, these bugs will sometimes produce a foul-smelling discharge. Rough Stink Bugs are very well camouflaged and will usually closely resemble the color and texture of the bark in the area in which they live. They are extremely beneficial to have around your garden because they eat the other "pest insects" that can cause harm to your garden.
