I recently had the opportunity of shooting this gorgeous model, Anna, who had recently returned to modelling after a break. One of the outfits the had brought was so reminiscent of something I expected 99 to wear in the old Get Smart series, a very Bohemian chic outfit from the 60s. And yet, it was missing something... it was missing a hat! A baker boy, perhaps a beret, however there was none to be found in the studio, and she didn't wear a hat.
However, I do wear hats, and this day, I was wearing my Scottish flat cap! 10 seconds later, and bam! It was fate! The hat suited the outfit perfectly, and every shot I took was better than the last. Credit to Anna, she pulled off the look incredibly well! Just goes to show you that you'll never know what will make the shot perfect, and it could very well be something that you're carrying around with you!
