Sunset over King's Beach

A beautiful and serene sunset over Lake Tahoe. This was taken in Kings Beach. Driving up to Tahoe you never know what to expect with the clouds, especially this time of year. When i started the drive in Carson City there was hardly a cloud in the sky and decided that my backup plan was to wait until night and photograph the milky way. Luck had it though that the clouds were there and in fact I had to look almost behind me from where I was pointing to get this scene.
