Drifting

This shoot was a really experimental one for me! I wanted to play around with how the water will reflect the clouded, diffuse light around the model. I really enjoy how his features dissolve beneath the water. I wanted to capture a cool melancholy, a peaceful acceptance, like we all float along. The soft focus on his closed eyes, and the focus on the droplets on his lips I feel really give this photo a difficult-to-describe engaging quality, and I hope that this photo asks questions, makes you think.
