La Alborada is the Festival de San Miguel Arcangel inSan Miguel de Allende. The festival is held on the weekend including or following September 29th, which is San Miguel's birthday. This is Francisco, one of the Chichimeca dancers who dance from La Aurora to the Parroquia with a sacred statue of San Miguel that lives the rest of the year in the church in nearby Atotonilco.
