Sometimes, instead of spending a couple of minutes scouting and looking for the best spot and compo, we just run over cliffs and mountains tripod in hand, eye on the camera. When I arrived at this spot the tide was starting to rise and there was not enough water to be shooting inside the pool so I ran to the top of the rocks to capture some motion of the water. I was getting smashed by the waves while my partner was chilling at the poolside. Suddenly, she sent me a photo of this beautiful waterfall that those big waves were creating so I went back to the beginning with a facepalm.
