We met at the trail head at 6 a.m. and skinned(hiked) to the top of Vail Pass. It was well below zero degrees Fahrenheit but thankfully one of the athletes brought a thermos of hot coffee to warm us up as we waited for light. A thin veil of mist and snow made for a beautiful smoky atmosphere. A great morning to be out skiing and shooting. Shot with Sigma 24-70 f2.8 A lens on Canon 7DMKII.
