I never was the fan of this technique, even I know many photographers use it. Placing the reflector below model's face make that ugly ascending shadow of her nose and that less pleasant shadows above her cheekbone, almost like a dark circle.
I tried the light from above, but wasn't getting the 3 dimensional hair to face depth I was looking for. I normally wouldn't under light, but I tried it on this one...I sort of like it. Thanks for your comment. I always appreciate feedback positive or negative! Happy New year!
