ARCHEStextures: PORTAM CIVITATIS

That's the title of this lighting artwork made by Peter Snijder for the Amsterdam Light Festival. The artwork is situated in the Brouwersgracht (brewers canal). The photo is a bracketed shot manually blend in PS, because I always like to bring back detail in the highlights and if necessary in the shadows so I get detail all throughout the picture. I love shooting during bluehour because there's still definition in the sky and the buildings get such a lovely glow from the streetlights. And in this case I was Lucky enough to pickup a little moonshine as well.
