I took this shot from my backyard. Spent two years perfecting how to shoot milkyway. Finally I can say that Yes I am good at it.
Behind this image is 2 years of failure and hundreds of trial and errors. I remember getting upset for not having an image like this.
I tried for 4 nights but only got 1 night to shoot because of raining. Developing this image felt like developing film.
Here (2x(7x10)) total 140 images merged into Panorama with Microsoft ICE and further processed in Lightroom. Total 24 minutes or 3.2 Gigapixels worth of data to capture this ultra high res image. The man was a shot of my brother taken in the day later added in post to add a character.
