This photo was taken as a cold front passed through Austin, Texas. I've wanted to take a photo like this for 10 years now, but I could never find the right time. As the city has grown new buildings have come out of the ground regularly. This was the first time in a long time where a photo could be taken of the skyline here without cranes being in the middle of the shot. The sky was a beautiful blue and the water was perfectly still. I used a 10 stop ND filter in order to create this image. The contrast in the warm and cool tones really helps bring the image together.
