Red Squirrels are fairly rare in England. Their habitat is limited and the Grey Squirrels bring infections they cannot fight. There are small pockets of Reds throughout mostly the Northern English National Parks and Scotland.
Here I was able to capture a Red as it leap between two platforms at a reserve near the village of Hawes in North Yorkshire.
