It was a late night SpaceX Falcon 9 launch of the SES-12 satellite, so I ventured out to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge that thankfully didn't have many people around, but unfortunately had ALL the bugs that mocked any repellant. The moon started to rise just prior to launch and a cloud blocked it right at launch and provided an amazing backdrop to the long exposure of the rocket launching.and even illuminated the plume towards the top of arc. 2 shots combined. 14mm Rokinon Canon 5D Mark IV
Absolutely fantastic! Well worth the impressive effort!
