The Birch Woodland

This is my first composite photo ever, so I can call it for my best. It is shot near my home town where I like to use my camera most of all, in the deep finnish forest. For this pic I used photos taken with the Nikon D750 camera, 1/5 sec at f/32, ISO speed 100. The background is a panning photograph from the same place with same camera settings.

Carl, I like your way of thinking, very similar to mine. Although if I may expound on my philosophy, wether if it my first attempt or my latest best it only remains as such till I or someone else can improve upon it.

Who knows how many times Ansel Adams photographed from Tunnel View before “Clearing Winter Storm” I know of a least half a dozen that he printed and continued to print before and after Winter Storm’s success. Same with “Monolith-Face of Half Dome” which is considered his earliest masterpiece at the age of 25, he continued photographing Half Dome in to the 1960’s.
