Focus on Shadow

There is no bad light. Mid-afternoon sunlight can be a great opportunity to take pictures. Here I was initially struck by the shadows cast by the poles and patiently waited until I had the right subject enter into the frame. I decided the person's shadow should center the pole's shadows and adding the person (not making her the subject) added visual tension. I decided to leave it in color as well.
