You guys wouldn't believe the location, small dark basement bedroom accordian door. Was not allowed to move dress. This is pretty close to in camera, just minor adjustments. Had to get creative
Welcome to Fstoppers Kat! It's a shame you missed the deadline. This is a beautiful image of a beautiful dress. Very creative. The choice of the blue curtain backdrop is perfect.
My only suggestion is minor. I might have considered either pinning the backdrop at least to below the neckline. I know you probably needed the bottom open for the lighting. Alternatively, if the opening was centered, it would look purposeful and that would be nice too.
It's too bad you couldn't touch the dress or you might have been able to slide the cups out. :)
These are just picky because, if fact, I really like this image. Neither of these are deal breakers for this nicely done piece!

Yes, I know, I kicked myself after, for not centering the curtain with the neckline.
I hung it there, but was not allowed to do anything else, touch anything, or even button up dress in the back.
My plan was to take it outside to get the shot I wanted, but that for sure wasn't going to happen.
I had about 3 min to get the shot.
I learned a huge lesson. I usually play it safe, I learned this wedding,,,,ALWAYS experiment.
