Backdrop is a softbox. There is also a reflector umbrella+strobe, facing the model in an angle from far away. While I did aim to get a dark image, I wanted certain parts of the face highlighted like lips, cheek on the dark side,area around the eye, to be able to create a contrast with the rest of the dark side of the face.
