This is the underside of a staircase. I found the contrast between the direction of the lines in the concrete and the edge appealing. The hole adds a certain "what's that for" aspect to it as well.
What I would change if I were to shoot this again:
* Focus is off/too shallow
* Would try to get a better comp in camera
* Something else I can't just quite put my finger on yet
