My friend created a weird show in the once-condemned, now-fixed-up-with-his-own-money basement of a church.
My lighting resources were pretty limited; I only own a single flash. But I did borrow 1 fluorescent continuous light that my eComm startup job had lying around the office.
The basement is actually very warm-toned, so I set the white balance to a custom extreme K setting to make it blue. Then I gelled my single flash with green (same colour as the costumes were), put my 24" softbox on it, and used it to capture each model individually. Finally shooed the models out, started up the fog machine, and shot frames of just the fog.
