A real playground for photographers is found in Nissedal in Norway. Since the ice-age, rocks and gravel have been swirling around on the riverbanks and formed big potholes. Today the river is dammed and the potholes and river make out a natural waterpark. On hot days the potholes become almost like hot pools, heated by the rocks and surrounding mountains. I have been to this location many times before, but now there were much more water in the river. Therefore I got two small waterfalls instead of one. I went for a long exposure to smooth out the water and to bring out the fantastic shapes of the rocks.
