This was a very quick shoot featuring acclaimed big wave surfer Ian Walsh. We had about 15 minutes before he had to bolt to the airport for his next big wave strike mission. This was shot in his boardroom at his home on Maui.
Lighting:
One light bounced off the ceiling using his boards as reflector to light his face and hat at the same time. Window light off camera right was my edge light.
