Hi Sharon, Welcome to the world of photography. You have made a great start. Your model is lovely. The shoulder is facing in the right direction and you have turned her right shoulder to the lens which is the female side and she looks relaxed as the shoulder is down. The only advice I would give to this shot is that her hand would look better placed at the side of her head with the side of her hand to the camera. This will make the hand look smaller.
I am noticing her knuckles first but this is an easy thing to correct when you get your next model. Look at more portraiture books and you will see what I mean. LINDSAY ADLER has a book out that is all about posing. Also make sure the focus is always on the eyes in portraiture. The Photographer Academy is a good port of call too. They do offers for less than £30 a year and do lots of webinars and videos from great Photographers. There is also a live critique.
I wish you all the best in your future projects.
