I've always been terrified with these green scarab beetles as a kid, primarily due to how feisty and strong they are. I can't say for sure if that fear still lingers after having shot it this intimately. But I sure respect these beetles more than ever.
Found this one on our window screen again. I had to handle it carefully and place it in a controlled photography environment. After several shots, I brought it back unscathed to where I found it.
