I originally intended to shoot here in spring but we miscalculated our trip date and came here a few weeks early. Nevertheless, I was thankful for the clear skies that morning. Also, the Milky Way would have been obstructed by the cherry blossoms had we arrived in spring. Not to mention the competition for space with other photogs.
