Cold Sunrise

It was late November and I was not expecting much of this scene given that it had been a wet and gloomy day prior this day. A bit of a bummer because the location I'd chosen to stay in had a clear view of Mount Fuji right off the window so it would be really sort of disappointing if it ended up getting covered with clouds. As I opened my eyes the next morning, I couldn't be happier and was at a loss of words to be greeted with clear skies and the sunlight making its way to the peak of the mountain. I took a moment to take it all in before I decided to pull up my camera, sat down window side and finally took a photo of it.
