I was early for work and decided to spend a few minutes coming up with a scene on the side of my desk.
I keep a few figurines around so I decided to pull them out and come up with something interesting.
I positioned the companion cube in place with a wooden stir-stick, a plant pot, and three mini binder-clips. I lit the scene using a 60w desk lamp with bendable arm and a small whiteboard as a reflector.
I added the rays in post and did some color correction to cool the lights down just a little.
