Cats have such amazing beauty and I’ve been lucky to photograph a whole variety of breeds over my career. Of course, all of them have been ridiculously photogenic. The right studio lighting can capture such incredible detail and there is nowhere to look but the eyes in this photograph. The British Shorthair was one breed I had to photograph for the eyes. They contrast perfectly against the fur and are so striking.
