What i learned from taking self portraits

A big part of my learning experience in photography, is actually being behind the camera. Putting my self in my clients shoes helps my understand how to keep my clients calm and collected. Aside from seeing the clients perspective during a shoot, it also helps me understand light and how to control it. Not all the time will you have a model to shoot with and practice your technique. I believe that being comfortable in front of a camera as a photographer is a major part of being a good photographer. It will help you learn how to control your shoot and feel confidant behind the camera. Learn to find your self and your style and it will take your work to a whole new level.
