One of my newest headshots for a good friend Justin Mane, a great actor from Michigan. This was a two-light setup: one light pointed at the background, and the other was 45 degrees camera right and up high so that the shadow from his nose hit his upper lip. I also had a white bounce card camera left to open up the shadows. I always tell my portrait clients that it's all in the eyes. If the person viewing the image can look into the eyes and see a part of your soul than we accomplished what we set out to do.
