Sitting silently amongst the trees the birds suddenly stopped,. They heard it before me but then out of nowhere the faint sounds grew louder hearing the hubs free wheeling on the bikes in the distance, twigs cracking I sat too refocused the camera and waited for that moment for someone to show through the mist not knowing where it would be I held off on the shot and repositioned for another rider to pass. Eventually I found a line that gave me the best chance of capturing that moment of light with the incredible vastness of the trees and Silhouette to give it some scale.
