This is an interesting one. It is a composite of a macro shot I took of my father's eye, on my t3i with a reversed 50mm enlarging lens on extension tubes at f 5.6, ISO 1600, 1/80, with a diffused on camera flash, and a self portrait on my 18-55 kit lens with an extension tube at 55mm, f 5.6, ISO 400, 1/160 with an off camera diffused flash. There has been serious color correction and manipulation done on the iris, as I did not get the entire iris in the macro shot.
