At the end of the outgoing year, I made a photoshoot for the Irkutsk barbershop Borodach. The guys turned out to be very friendly, and most importantly patient — the shooting lasted six hours (although taking into account the equipment settings and breaks, we actually shot less, of course). This is my favorite image from this photoshoot.

Lighting Breakdown:
Godox AD600BM with shoot through umbrella (110 cm) in front of the subject as key light.
Godox TT600 with shoot through umbrella (110 cm) on the left side of the frame.
Godox TT600 (+ blue gel) with shoot through umbrella (85 cm) on the right side of the frame.

Camera Specs:
Canon 5D Mark II
Canon 17-40mm f/4L EF USM @ 20mm
f/8
1/100
ISO 100

Nice. Would have loved if the scissors (and comb) were more in the foreground ... as it would better pointed out the profession ;)

Actually I did several photos like you suggest but in the end I liked overall expression and pose on this one. But good point though ;)
