Golden Eagle (adult) - Image taken on a high plateau in the north of Norway. we had a 3km steep snow mobile journey in the dark to get up to an old hunters cabin built in 1908 to stay overnight in. In the morning, we left the cabin before dawn for the quick 15minute journey to the plateau, to get into to position before the Golden eagles could see us and we waited....... 5 hours later this magnificent adult golden eagle arrived to check us out and to grab a snack on the roadkill we had placed out.
