Golden Pelican

I went to La Jolla Cove to view some new birds for me and as the birds were just waking up, it provided an opportunity to get some beautiful portraits in the rising sun, bathing this adult Brown Pelican in beautiful golden light. He was busy preparing for the upcoming busy day by preening his feathers.
