Frozen In Time

When the weather gets to -20C (-4F) or below, we have a special recipe we like to use. Kyle Brittain from the Weather Network used a recipe from a friend of mine and fellow photographer, Chris Ratzlaff, who was also one of the members who found the STEVE phenomena. We can literally watch bubbles freeze in real time. It's quite amazing. If you use a flash, you can stop the motion of the snowflakes (which we had this day) around it. What an experience!!
