Found this scene in my local Woods / Forest. I always struggle with forest photography, but as many of you know snow / mist can simplify the scene a little. I guess I liked the way the trees are crossing and the light on the bush behind. Hope you like the image and see you in Instagram. Cheers Tom.
This image appeals to me. Totally agree about forest photography, and indeed the snow has probably made a critical difference here. I like the way the image looks monochrome at first, and then the half-hidden colour on the underside of the crossed trunks especially catches my eye, suddenly giving the image a totally different feel somehow. You've managed a tricky composition well.
Won't see me on IG any time soon, though.
